Updating your method of payment
Step 1: View your current method(s) of payment
Step 2: Click on the three dots of the payment method you wish to update or change. Then click “Update”.
- “Update existing payment information” is used if the card account number is the same, however the expiration date or security code has changed.
- “Replace payment information” is used if you wish to change to a new card with a new account number.
If you have an Agreement Billing Membership. DO NOT “Click Add New Card”, as this will not change the card associated with your current membership agreement.
Deleting a method of payment
Step 1: View your current method(s) of payment
Step 2: Click on the three dots of the payment method you wish to update or change. Then click “Delete”
If you have an active Agreement Billing Membership, you will not be able to delete the method of payment associated with that membership. Follow the steps above update your method of payment.
Issues with Updating or Adding a Payment Method
All credit and debit cards are processed through Yale’s credit card/debit card portal. If your card is not accepted or you see the error “contact system administrator” there is nothing Yale Campus Recreation can do to assist as your card issuer is rejecting the charge or setup for continuous billing.
Typically, this may be related to an incorrect billing address. The billing address must match the address associated with your card exactly. (i.e. using st. instead of street, sixth ave. instead of 6th Ave.). If you see this error, we suggest you confirm the security address associated with your card.
