Practices are held twice a week and matches are played on weekends against other teams in the Northeast. We participate in the Northeast Zone Regional tournament, as well as the National Championships.

Yale Club Cycling was established in 1891 welcomes bikers of any experience level and from any discipline - road, cyclocross or mountain biking. The club is composed of both undergraduate and graduate students from all areas of study, brought together by a passion for bikes, racing, exercise, and community. We participate in local road, cyclocross, and mountain bike races and, as part of the Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference, compete with other New England schools. We host rides tow to three times a week; outdoor rides start from campus or East Rock Park, and indoor spin sessions take place in PWG.

Yale Club Equestrian is a co-ed team that welcomes riders of all levels of experience. We ride at Cedar Brook Farm and are get trained by the coaches there. While barns will almost always provide all the equipment their horses need and lesson helmets for the riders, riders often buy their own gear, and competitions require a certain uniform.

Club Golf is a longstanding team at Yale. Tryouts are hosted every fall with signup available at the extracurricular bazaar. For those who make the team, no firm commitment to practice times is necessary. Members practice when they are able at local New Haven golf courses given the closure of the Yale course. We seek to have one match per semester, with recent opponents including Dartmouth and Harvard.

Yale Club Jump Rope brings together students of all levels who are passionate about jump rope for fitness, fun, and community. We have practices twice weekly where members can learn basic to advanced techniques, including freestyle, speed, and double dutch. We provide a welcoming space for beginners to pick up new skills and for experienced jumpers to showcase their talent. Beyond regular practices, we participate in shows and competitions, encouraging members to stay active and spread the joy of jump rope across campus. We welcome all to join the team!

The Yale Alpine Ski Team competes in the McBrine Division of the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association. In the spring semester we compete together at many different mountains, and in the fall semester we work out, eat, and often just relax together, as a team.

Yale Women’s Club Softball is a space for girls of all experience levels to play competitive softball and to be a part of a close-knit team of women at Yale. We play in the NCSA (National Club Softball Association), competing in games throughout the fall and spring seasons. Yale Club Women’s Water Polo is a competitive team that welcomes players of all skill levels. Practices are held 3-5 times a week in the Kiputh Exhibition Pool in the basement of Payne Whitney Gymnasium. There is an annual training trip during Spring Break as well. We compete in the CWPA North Atlantic Division and participate in 3 tournaments a year.

We compete in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) and typically host 1-2 home matches and travel to 4-5 away matches. Participating in competitions is not a requirement to join practices and workouts with the team.
We are the nation’s oldest collegiate wresting team. We are proud to have notable alumni such as William Howard Taft (Class of 1878 & 27th President of the U.S) and George Stuart Dole (Class of 1906 & Yale’s first ever Olympic Gold Medalist- Freestyle Wresting 1908 London Olympics).

Wushu is a modern Chinese martial art that blends traditional techniques with elements of performance. It includes both armed and unarmed combat forms, focusing on agility, flexibility, speed, and precision. Yale Club Wushu practices on the fifth floor of Payne-Whitney Gym in dance studio D twice a week, all are welcome to come and practice regardless of prior experience. We practice and perform at shows such as STM Lunar New Year Event, AASA’s Night Market and CASA’s cultural demo.
